Volunteering

With thanks to our volunteers – people just like you – we can give our dogs and cats the high standard of care that we are so proud of. Whether you help walk our dogs, cuddle our cats, or raise money to keep the sanctuary running, there are so many important ways that you can lend a hand and get involved, some of which are detailed below.

    Minimum age for volunteering: 16 in the cattery/cat cuddling and 18 in the kennels/dog walking. We cannot accept children as volunteers.

    To volunteer please either complete our Volunteer application form or email volunteering@hollyhedge.org.uk to register.

    We will need to see two forms of ID, both must show your current address and one must be a photographic form of ID (for example a recent utility bill and your driving license or a college card). For some roles we may need to requests references and will contact you about this if required. 

    It can take a little time for us to process our volunteer requests, so please bear with us. We really appreciate your support and can’t wait to get you started!
